All different types of runners benefit from cross training, core strength, conditioning, stretching and flexibility, alongside a healthy balanced diet. Strength and conditioning will help build a resilient body to support your running, increase your endurance and assist in your return from injury. It will also provide variety and a bit of fun!

Strength and conditioning training is offered by run coaches, sports therapists and personal trainers in the Bath area. Many gyms and trainers offer 1-2-1 training sessions or exercise classes well as online resources and tips. See below for some options:
